At least five people were killed over the weekend in two separate incidents in Wajir County.
An unknown number of gunmen on Saturday raided a residential area and carried out an attack at Giriftu bus stage in Wajir Town, killing one man and one woman.
Confirming the incident, Wajir County Police Commander Samuel Mukindia said another man succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Wajir Referral Hospital.

He said the motive of the attackers had not yet been established but an investigation was underway.
On Friday evening, two people were killed in fighting between two clans.
Mr Mukindia, confirming the incident, said they were killed in Lakole village during a raid by armed men.
